KEANU REEVES has been reduced to a limp after suffering a leg injury.
The injury could seriously delay the start of shooting on thetwo MATRIX sequels - the cast were scheduled to fly out to Australia to begin the high impact filming this month (JAN01).
But Keanu, who is clearly not up to SPEED with the training, spent yesterday morning (05JAN00) hobbling to a Los Angeles, California radiologist to survey the damage to his injured foot. Complete with a cast and X-rays of the damaged appendage, Keanu and pal paid a visit to a local health supermarket to buy snacks for his armchair recuperation.
An onlooker says, "Keanu looked in a bit of pain as he walked around the supermarket. He certainly didn't look ready to do the kind of stunts he did in the first Matrix." Keanu's not the only Matrix star to be temporary disabled, co- star CARRIE ANNE MOSS injured her ankle last month (DEC00) while she prepared for her karate-kicking role. (MB/WN/RGS)
