EWAN MCGREGOR hasn't been approached about doing a sequel to his first major movie - Scottish heroin flick TRAINSPOTTING (1996). The star, who was reportedly upset when the film's director DANNY BOYLE picked LEONARDO DICAPRIO over him for the movie version of BEACH, The (2000), says he hasn't spoken to anyone about a follow up.
Cult writer IRVINE WELSH is working on a second book and Boyle says he wants to get in touch with McGregor to work on the screen version. But the MOULIN ROUGE (2001) star says he hasn't spoken to the film maker in years. (BRC/WNTRE/ES)
