GOLDIE HAWN's new movie TOWN AND COUNTRY (2001) is an all-time flop-buster - the film has taken a measly $6. 7 million (£5. 15 million).
The project has overtaken KEVIN COSTNER's 1997 boob POSTMAN, the (1997) as the least popular film in the cinema, having only taken 8 per cent of the $85 million (£65. 4 million) it cost to make.
The film was only released in America a month ago (begMAY01) but its distributors NEW LINE CINEMA have pulled all the advertising from movie theatres.
The non-success of the film comes as a great embarrassment to Goldie and her co-stars WARREN BEATTY, ANDIE MACDOWELL and GARRY SHANDLING. (ES/WNWE/KW)
