In July, Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd decided to end their ten month marriage, and at about the same time J.Lo and Ben Affleck started seeing each other after meeting on the set of Gigli (2002), in which they both appeared. J.Lo told Oprah Winfrey "We both really kind of surprised each other. I just thought, you know, he was one of these Hollywood guys, but he was just, like, a really down-to-earth, charming, sweet, affectionate person."

Now the media frenzy has started and a price war has begun for a set of nine pictures taken in Beverly Hills in July showing the couple kissing. People magazine reportedly outbid rivals US Weekly for the set photos and plan to publish them in their next issue out in the shops soon. The pictures are said to have gone for as much as $75,000, much to the surprise of Affleck's publicist David Pollick who said, "They're dating, plain and simple. It's nothing to get hysterical about."
