Jennifer Lopez says her split from Ben Affleck has left her extremely broken-hearted.

The 34-year-old said it was Affleck's reluctance to make a commitment and his love of gambling that led to the break-up-up.

The singer and actress also said their constant bickering over where to live had driven a wedge between them, says The Sun. They split last week after 18 months together.

J-Lo is quoted as saying: "I put enormous effort into my relationship with Ben, but in the end I realised I needed to put my personal and professional life back together."

Despite the dispute, J-Lo was said to be still making plans for their wedding as late as January 6.

But Affleck apparently refused her ultimatum to set a date at their final meal together in Beverly Hills, which J-Lo called "The Last Supper".

The couple had previously called off their big day last September. She's said to have even returned her 33rd birthday gift from Affleck - a £190,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom.
