Jennifer Lopez is reportedly opening her own dance school.

The star has set-up the salsa dancing school in the Bronx, the New York district where she grew up.

J-Lo was said to be extremely keen to launch the classes as she wanted to give something back to the people still living in the area reports Femalefirst.co.uk.

A source said: "Jennifer loves dancing so she thought it would be a great idea. She is even planning to teach some of the salsa classes herself."

Jennifer is currently starring in forthcoming film Shall We Dance (2004), alongside Richard Gere.
