Rubber-faced actor ROWAN ATKINSON is being lured into making a second MR BEAN movie with the promise of an Australian adventure.
Friends of writer RICHARD CURTIS say the NOTTING HILL scribe has penned the outline of a script which takes the bumbling Bean to Australia on a voyage of discovery. But British funnyman Atkinson is already considering a trip Down Under to play the chief villain in a live action SCOOBY-DOO feature and hasn't made his mind up about Mr Bean.
One of Curtis's associates says, "The movie is still very much in idea form. Rowan is unsure whether he still has enthusiasm for Bean. "But Richard thinks there are paths to explore like Bean falling in love with an Aussie girl and getting married. "Then there's the most accident prone honeymoon in history on the Great Barrier Reef." The working title of the film is Down Under Bean. (MCM/WNWCAN)
