George Clooney To Play Extra In New Ape Film

Hollywood hunk GEORGE CLOONEY will don an ape mask and be an extra in his next outing on the silver screen.

Clooney, 40 on 6 May (01), is making up the numbers in the remake of PLANET OF THE APES, directed by TIM BURTON of BATMAN fame.

Appearing alongside a starstudded cast including MARK WAHLBERG, TIM ROTH, HELENA BONHAM CARTER, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON and original 'planet' star CHARLTON HESTON, Clooney has taken on the role for a bit of fun with his good friend Wahlberg. (THA/WNSMI/PDD)
