Ethan's Debut Set For Cannes
ETHAN HAWKE's star-studded directorial debut has been added to the UN CERTAIN REGARD competition at the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL (MAY01).
The movie, CHELSEA WALLS (2001), was shot on digital in just two weeks in Manhattan's CHELSEA HOTEL and stars Hawke's wife UMA THURMAN, NATASHA RICHARDSON, CHRISTOPHER WALKEN, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON and MARISA TOMEI among its stellar cast.
The movie tells five intersecting stories involving more than 30 characters. (KL/HR/KW)
