Gal Gadot is reported to be in talks to join Bradley Cooper in Deeper.

The project, which will be directed by Kornel Mundruczo (White God) from a script by Max Landis (American Ultra), follows "a disgraced astronaut embarks on a mission to reach the bottom of a newly discovered oceanic trench, theorized to be the lowest point on Earth. He encounters an increasing level of danger and soon finds himself in a psychological (and physical) fight against mysterious forces."

Landis has previously described Deeper as a combination of "Birdman + The Shining + Locke + 2001 + The Descent + Miyazaki."
