Chris Pine joining DC universe, ‘Wonder Woman’ as Steve Trevor.

Chris Pine has closed a deal to play the male lead in DC’s Wonder Woman alongside Gal Gadot.

Pine was rumored to be weighing an offer to play Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman or Hal Jordan in Green Lantern, but according to The Wrap, it seems like there wasn’t really a choice, Pine was always looking at this project. Now, he joins Gal Gadot in the superhero picture that will follow the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
