Patty Jenkins is still not signed to direct the follow-up to Wonder Woman, so reports The Hollywood Reporter. The DC movie, arguably their best, grossed $103 million in the domestic territory alone so it was more than a cert that the studio would offer the directing gig to Jenkins for the planned sequel.
The trade says that Jenkins signed a one-picture deal for the first movie but Gal Gadot has a sequel under contract as part of her multi-picture deal with the studio for multiple DC movies – which will include the upcoming Justice League and its sequel. Jenkins will now potentially head back into negotiations to helm the sequel over the WB after the huge runaway success of Wonder Woman.
