Publicly thwarting reports their marriage is a sham, TOM CRUISE and wife NICOLE KIDMAN held a love boat ride for 20 close friends to display their emotions.

The MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE star rented a boat and hosted a party for close friends and relatives, serving only caviar, champagne and chilled vodka. In the middle of the bash, Cruise recited a tender eight-page love letter detailing their relationship from the day they met until the present.

TO DIE FOR actress Kidman then presented Cruise with a tape of all their favourite love songs. The captive audience was apparently overwhelmed and a little embarrassed by their display of affection. (SVD/TS/MCM)
