Ewan McGregor will star opposite Anne Hathaway in an untitled dinosaur adventure feature from "It Follows" filmmaker David Robert Mitchell at Warner Bros. Pictures and Bad Robot.

No plot details are known, but it is said to be shot in IMAX format and reportedly will be a "thrill ride." Obviously, this would be a very different film than what Mitchell has been making for much of his career.

The project is being dubbed a family adventure set in the 1980s that involves dinosaurs, but further story details are under wraps. Hathaway and McGregor play the parents with the kids roles yet to be cast.

Mitchell wrote the script and is producing alongside J.J. Abrams, Matt Jackson and Hannah Minghella. Jake Weiner and Chris Bender will executive produce.

McGregor will next be seen in Showtime and Paramount Global’s adaptation of the Amor Towles novel, A Gentleman in Moscow, on which he served as executive producer. He will also be seen in Larsson’s Mother Couch and Bleeding Love, which he produced as well.
