Hugh Jackman has said that he thinks he is dispensable as Wolverine and that it's inevitable another actor will eventually play the character.
The 45-year-old actor has played the role in films spanning 14 years now and is currently back in the role for X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), but told IGN he thought it would be handed over to someone else eventually.
He said: "Look, that's inevitable, man. Anyone who thinks they're indispensable in this business is fooling themselves. But I feel unbelievably blessed to have this part."
Hugh has now played Wolverine seven times but said he was still aware of how lucky he is.
"Every day I walk on the set with the claws and the hair, I thank my lucky stars. I don't take any of it for granted," he said.
"To think that in a second version we'd have this cast and this director, and you guys don't know the script, but I would say probably the best script of all of them, is pretty amazing."
