Téa Leoni is in talks to replace Cameron Diaz in a remake of the 1977 comedy Fun With Dick And Jane.

Diaz was originally cast in the Columbia Pictures project but had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict.

Leoni is now expected to play the role of Jane in the remake, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The 2004 version has been updated to revolve around a spokesman for a big company who finds himself jobless and an outcast following some dodgy extracurricular activities.

The original starred Jane Fonda and George Segal as an upper-middle-class couple who turned to robbery to pay their bills.
