Hollywood's golden couple BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON have flatly denied reports in a German magazine that they're expecting their first baby.

Press reports that the newlyweds were starting a family have been swirling for the past few weeks. Now, in the new German edition of MARIE CLAIRE, pin-up Pitt is quoted as saying,

"Number one is already on the way. Now we're just hoping that everything goes well. " But the couple's publicists have come forward to deny the claims and the report's writer has blamed the misunderstanding on mistranslation.

Pitt's publicist CINDY GUAGENTI is insisting the story is false and has requested a retraction from the magazine. Aniston's spokesperson STEVEN HUVANE also denied the FRIENDS star was pregnant and said he was seeking an explanation from Marie Claire.

Even the writer of the story, ELISA LEONELLI, is in agreement. She says she asked Pitt: "When do you think you'll start having children?", to which his reply, "Whenever it's right, I think we'll feel it," was mistranslated. (LE/WNWCNN/ES)
