Channing Tatum is teaming up with Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd to produce a male-centric Ghostbusters movie.

Reitman has confirmed that second a Ghostbusters movie is in development to complement director Paul Feig's female-centric film.

Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo are currently attached to helm this second Ghostbusters movie, with Tatum expected to star.

This project is the next step in building a shared Ghostbusters universe that will span various media platforms.

Reitman told Deadline: "We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV shows, merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment."
