Biography

Dan AykroydAttended Carleton University in Ottawa (1969). Majored in Criminology and Sociology - dropped out to work with SCTV in Toronto. Started his acting career At Carleton University with Sock'n'Buskin, the campus theatre/drama club. Married to Donna Dixon. Two daughters. His parents are named Peter and Loraine and his brother (also named Peter) is a psychic researcher. He received an honourary Doctorate from Carleton University in 1994.

Dan's acting career was well established in high school, he performed in Carnival in 1968 and Murder in the Cathedral in 69 at St Pats. At the same time he was at St Pat's he was appearing in other plays at other Ottawa high Schools.
