Renée worried about having kids

Renée Zellweger fears her yo-yo Bridget Jones dieting may affect her chances of becoming a mum.

The 35-year-old star gained 20lbs for the first film in 2001 before rapidly losing it for her dancing role in the film version of Chicago.

She repeated the trick for Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason and is now back to a Size 6.

"I know there's been some research into losing weight quickly and the effects that has," she told Closer magazine.

"Of course, it's concerning. I'd love to be a mum one day. I'm looking forward to being pregnant and putting on weight naturally."

The Texan actress also claimed that her weight gains and losses seem far more severe than they are.

"The camera adds at least 10lbs and, because I'm so small, it makes me look a lot fatter than I am."

Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason is currently showing at cinemas nationwid.
