KUNG FU king JACKIE CHAN is set to become a member of Hollywood's elite $20 million (£15 million) club. The Hong Kong actor's latest American movie, RUSH HOUR 2 (2001), co- starring CHRIS TUCKER, has broken box office records in its opening weekend(begs3Aug01).

The blockbuster about a mismatched cop duo took in nearly $67 million (£51. 5 million) to become the biggest ever by a comedy film - good news for Chan's marketability.
