The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal is rumored to be in talks to play the MCU's Reed Richards for the Fantastic Four reboot.

Pedro Pascal is currently being eyed to play Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, a brilliant scientist who gains the ability to bend and stretch his body like rubber following exposure to gamma rays during a scientific expedition to outer space.

The casting news ends months of speculation of who might play the role with the likes of John Krasinski, Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Matt Smith all mentioned.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con that, because of Disney's having bought 20th Century Fox and claimed all of its Marvel characters, the Four could come to the MCU officially.

Right now, WandaVision director Matt Shakman is set to make the movie, with Josh Friedman writing the script.
