Idina Menzel provides an update on the announced Frozen 3, confirming that she will return as the voice actor for Elsa in the upcoming sequel.

While the celebrated actress confirmed her return, she can’t share much as currently she has limited knowledge of the film. During her interview with Billboard, she claimed that the movie’s storyline and character details are still a mystery even to her.

"I don't know a lot. To be completely honest, they teased it to us, and I have no idea. They don't show you a script. They don't show you anything. All I know is, yeah we are gonna make one, and that's it. So, I'm like cool I will be able to pay my bills."

The Frozen franchise began in 2013, releasing the phenomenal success that the first Frozen, making $1.28 billion in box office. It was followed Frozen 2 after six years in 2019. The sophomore even outdid the predecessor with $1.45 billion worldwide earnings, holding the record of highest grossing animated movie of all time to this day.
