Lindsay Lohan is said to be thinking about taking a plea deal in her court case, after initially saying that she never would.

The Mean Girls star will appear back in court on Friday, over charges that she stole a £1,500 necklace from a jewellery store in California and for violating her probation.

It was originally thought that Lindsay was going to reject the deal but an insider told website TMZ: "Reality is starting to sink in and Lindsay is beginning to understand the risks of going forward with a trial."

If LiLo fights the charge and loses she risks going to jail for over a year, while taking the deal means she could end up only doing a 3 month stint behind bars.

It is reported that could also be reduced to just 19 day because of prison overcrowding.
