Dog Saved Drew Barrymore From House Blaze
LATEST: Hollywood actress DREW BARRYMORE and her fiance TOM GREEN's dog saved them from the blaze that gutted their home yesterday (18FEB01).
The couple's dog, FLOSSIE, woke them in their Hollywood, California, home at 3.30am local time. EDDIE MICHAELS, Barrymore's spokesman, says Flossie "literally banged on their bedroom door". It took firefighters about an hour to douse the flames. Damage is estimated at $700,000 (£466,000). (RGS/WNWCAN
