Julia Roberts is set to star in director Luca Guadagnino's thriller feature that is set in the world of academia.

The movie follows Roberts as a college professor who "finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues." As she navigates the difficult situation, "a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light." Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.

After the Hunt will be produced by Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum for Imagine Entertainment and by Guadagnino through Frenesy. It will be executive produced by Imagine Entertainment’s Karen Lunder and Garrett.

Roberts has seen a career resurgence of late with the rom-com "Ticket to Paradise" and Netflix’s post-apocalyptic thriller "Leave the World Behind".
