Netflix Boss Scott Stuber confirms the development of Enola Holmes 3, which will continue the story of Sherlock Holme's detective sister.

Netflix confirms the development of Enola Holmes 3. Starring Millie Bobby Brown as Sherlock Holmes’ eponymous sister, Enola Holmes first debuted on Netflix in 2020. Enola Holmes was then followed up by the sequel Enola Holmes 2 in 2022, and Enola Holmes 3 has since been rumored.

Enola Holmes 3 is now on its way, confirms Head of Netflix Film Scott Stuber. In conversation with Collider, Stuber verified the development of Enola Holmes 3 while praising "homegrown star", Brown. According to Stuber, the screenplay for Enola Holmes 3 is currently in the works.

"You know, she's such a great homegrown star for us. I mean, obviously, Stranger Things is huge for us in that, and watching her grow as an actress. We have a film called Damsel with her in the spring, which I'm really excited about, from Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Then, getting that character right. The Holmes IP is weirdly elastic. Obviously, Warner Bros. did an incredible job with Downey and Jude Law, so this idea that we can extend that IP with her is exciting. So, we're working once again on a screenplay to try to get that. But yes, aspiration. I'd like to do another one."

Released back in 2020, the first Enola Holmes is based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries series by Nancy Springer and introduces audiences to the titular Holmes sibling (played by Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown), who embarks on her own investigation as she heads to London to find her missing mother. Of course, as is often the case with the Holmes family, she ends up on the trail of something else entirely and must solve a mystery that threatens the entire country.
