Biography

GORDON MARK a Vancouver native and lifelong resident, Gordon Mark has a long history in feature film and television production, beginning in 1973 as a studio director at CBC TV. He has worked on over fifty features, series and MOWS in various production capacities as location manager, assistant director, production manager and producer.

In addition to serving as executive producer for Best In Show, Gordon has line produced the feature films Alaska and Knight Moves and worked as associate producer on Needful Things and Gold Diggers. He was executive producer on the TNT MOW Shutterspeed. His television producing credits include MOWs for ABC, CTV and CBC and series such as the pilot episodes of Kurt Vonnegut's Monkey House which won both Ace and Gemini awards for best dramatic special. Recent series produced are The Crow and The Adventures of Sinbad as well as Lightning Force and The Beachcombers.

Currently, Gordon is executive in charge of production for Lions Gate Television's Vancouver based productions.
