Biography

An accomplished writer, actor, and stand-up comedian, Paul Reiser starred for seven years opposite Helen Hunt on the critically acclaimed series "Mad About You," which garnered him Emmy, Golden Globe, American Comedy, and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. He also co-created and produced the series, and co-wrote its title theme song.

His film credits include Barry Levinson's "Diner," Martin Brest's "Beverly Hills Cop," James Cameron's "Aliens," Tony Scott's "Beverly Hills Cop II," Jerry Rees' "The Marrying Man," Sam Weisman's "Bye Bye, Love," and Rob Reiner's "The Story of Us."

Reiser wrote the best-seller Couplehood, which reached the No. 1 spot on the New York Times best-seller list; and Babyhood, which also made the Times' best-seller chart
