Biography

JESSICA CAPSHAW dreamed of acting from childhood but waited to graduate from Brown University before pursuing a career. Her first film role was in "The Locusts," opposite Vince Vaughn. She also appeared in the independent films "Denial" and "Killing Cinderella." Capshaw is presently appearing in the ABC television comedy series "Odd Man Out."

Capshaw gained considerable stage experience during her university years. She spent her summers studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, starring as Puck in "A Midsummer Nights Dream." At Brown, she starred in university productions of both "Arcadia" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."
