Stunt coordinator/second unit director SIMON CRANE has served as stunt coordinator on such major action films as Braveheart, Titanic and Saving Private Ryan.
He worked as stunt coordinator on The World is Not Enough and the hit horror adventure, The Mummy.

He worked with director Martin Campbell on his Bond blockbuster GoldenEye and was aerial stunt coordinator for the Stallone mountain action movie, Cliffhanger.
Crane is English and started in the industry as a stunt performer and stunt double for such action heroes as Timothy Dalton (Licence to Kill, The Living Daylights), Mel Gibson (Air America, Braveheart) and Kevin Costner (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves). He also worked on films such as Aliens and Total Recall, among many others. After completing his training, he became stunt coordinator and eventually added the role of second unit director to his repertoire.
After becoming bored at University, where he was training to be a lawyer, he decided to capitalize on his prowess in a variety of sports by becoming a stunt man. For this, he needed an Equity Card (the English equivalent of SAG membership), so he joined the circus for two years while he did part of his stunt training. He qualified as an instructor in nine sports, instead of the mandatory six, including gymnastics, scuba diving, karate, sky diving and fencing.
