Biography

JEROD MIXON sings under the alias of 'Big Tyme', opposite brother Jamal as 'Herculeez'. Last year, Herculeez and Big Time released their debut album, Chunka Love, and the album's first music video, "Hollywood," for White Label Records.

Mixon made his motion picture debut in "How to Be A Player," and had a role in Warren Beatty's "Bulworth." Both films also featured brother Jamal, whose acting credits include "The Nutty Professor." Jerod also co-stars in the feature "Jack of All Trades."

Mixon grew up in South Central Los Angeles. At age 13, he was spotted by a talent manager and won a featured role in a Nike television commercial opposite sports superstar Deion Sanders. He quickly graduated to guest-starring roles on such TV series as "Tales from the Crypt," "Built To Last," "Moesha," "Good News" and "Malcolm & Eddie."

In addition to his work on Chunka Love's "Hollywood" music video, Mixon has appeared in the music videos "Twism for Life" with Shaquille O'Neal, "Holiday" with Naughty By Nature, "Woble Woble" with Master P, and "Breakout" with
The Foo Fighters.
