The Anniston, Alabama native grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. At age eight he began acting in theatre just for fun. During a high school performance, the Dean of Drama at the University of Arizona spotted Biehn and offered him a drama scholarship. Biehn accepted and eventually moved to Arizona with his family. In 1976, Biehn moved to pursue his career in Hollywood, where he was cast as the psychotic fan stalking Lauren Bacall in "The Fan." He went on to a role in "Lords of Discipline," then hit it big when he was chosen to play opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Camerons "The Terminator." His association with Cameron would lead to more roles in the directors subsequent hits, "Aliens" and "The Abyss."
Biehns television credits include starring roles in the CBS series "The Magnificent Seven," the miniseries "Asteroid" and "Deadly Intentions." He has guest-starred on such series as "Hill Street Blues," "Police Story" and "Family."
