Biography

ANGIE DICKINSON came to Hollywood from Kulm, North Dakota. She studied at Immaculate Heart College and Glendale College. After winning a beauty contest, she played bit parts and small roles until 1959, when Howard Hawks gave her the female lead in his "Rio Bravo." Since then, she has appeared in numerous motion pictures, among them "China Gate," "The Killers," "Ocean’s Eleven," "Point Blank," "The Chase," "Dressed to Kill," "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues," "Sabrina" and the upcoming film "Duets," opposite Gwyneth Paltrow.

A popular star on television, Ms. Dickinson spent four seasons starring as the iconic Pepper in the wildly popular TV series "Police Woman," and has appeared in such mini-series as "Wild Palms," "Hollywood Wives," "Pearl" and "Remembrance."
