Recent screen appearances include roles in Complicity, Gavin Millar’s adaptation of Iain Banks’ novel; Orphans, directed by Peter Mullan; Mark Herman’s Oscar-nominated Little Voice; and Mel Gibson’s multi Oscar-winning Braveheart. A veteran of Bill Forsyth’s early films, including Gregory’s Girl, Comfort and Joy and Local Hero, Norton has also appeared extensively on stage and television and directed Mother Goose, the popular annual Scottish pantomime at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre.
