Rosamund Pike is attached to star as famed scientist Marie Curie in "Radioactive" for Working Title and Studiocanal.

The project will be adapted from Lauren Redniss’ biography which deals with the great romance of Marie & Pierre Curie, their scientific discovery of radioactivity, and the long shadow that has since been cast over the modern world.

Two other key roles – husband Pierre Curie, and her subsequent younger lover Paul Langevin – are out to cast. Marjane Satrapi ("Persepolis") helms the film which "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" playwright Jack Thorne penned.
