With their latest project, Life, arriving in UK cinemas tomorrow, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have been on the interview trail for the movie. And in a chat with Comicbook.com, the duo have confirmed that Zombieland 2 – another project they’ve been trying to get off the ground – is very much at the forefront of their minds.

They confirmed that the film is in active development, adding that "we’re trying to get it going. All of our cast have read the script and love it".

The original Zombieland (2009) starred Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin.
