Actor Paul Dano is currently filming Bong Joon-Ho’s latest film “Okja,” but he has another project already in the works: His directorial debut “Wildlife,” based on the 1990 Richard Ford novel of the same name.
Now according to Variety, Jake Gyllenhaal has signed on to star in the film alongside Carey Mulligan.
"Wildlife" follows a teenage boy who witnesses the decay of his parents’ marriage after their move to Montana when his mother befriends another man.
It will be co-written by Dano and fellow actress Zoe Kazan, and will be produced by Andrew Duncan and Alex Saks for June Pictures, and Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker for Nine Stories.
