Jennifer Lawrence talks moving on from The Hunger Games.

Coming to grips with the end of the Hunger Games movies has been quite difficult for Jennifer Lawrence.

With the final instalment of the $2 billion franchise having hit cinemas, Lawrence will now have to leave 'The Girl on Fire' Katniss Everdeen behind once and for all.

"It's crazy," Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly. "I signed on to these projects when I was 20 years old. I remember being like, 'Oh my God, I'm going to be 25 when I'm finished'. It seemed so far away."

She went on to say: "It does feel over. It didn't for a while and I didn't think it would ever sink in, but it has now. It feels over. And that's okay. It's okay to move on."

With the Hunger Games franchise behind her and her X-Men contract running out, Lawrence is now looking to diversify her career.

The 25-year-old is partnering with pal Amy Schumer on a buddy comedy screenplay, in addition to eyeing her first directorial project.
