Christian Bale has reportedly withdrawn from Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs biopic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor exited the project after coming to the conclusion that he was not the right man to play the Apple co-founder.
Bale joined Jobs after Leonardo DiCaprio dropped out of the project in favour of a hiatus from acting.
Director Boyle is expected to hold a number of casting meetings this week, with Seth Rogen rumoured to be taking on the role of co-founder Steve Wozniak.
The script is said to be divided into three acts which detail Jobs preparing for three presentations that came to define his life and the life of the company he co-founded, lost and came back to.
