ALL SAINTS star NATALIE APPLETON's daughter RACHEL could teach her mum a thing or two about acting, according to insiders on the set of TOMB RAIDER.

The pint-sized performer plays the young LARA CROFT to ANGELINA JOLIE's adult in the film, and has been surprising onlookers with her skill.

JOHN HUBBARD, of Hubbard casting says, "She listens to you and once relaxed gets into character and acts very, very well. "She isn't one of those children who wander around when you're taking to her. She's very directable, which is important on a movie like this."

Rachel will be seen with JON VOIGHT, - Angelina's real father - who plays Lara's dad in the film.

John says, "I think he was a bit taken by her. They got on very well and he took her out to tea."

Mum Natalie, who starred in box office flop HONEST, is a constant visitor to the Pinewood studios set.
