'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' press full-steam ahead, says Summit

Summit Entertainment has insisted that promotion for Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is moving on "full-steam ahead".

Promotion around the final instalment of Stephanie Meyer's vampire trilogy had seemed uncertain following the revelation that Kristen Stewart had cheated on her on-screen and real life love interest Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders late last month.

However, Summit has promised fans that the stars' personal relationship will not affect Breaking Dawn - Part 2's press schedule leading up to and surrounding its November release.

President of worldwide marketing, Nancy Kirkpatrick, told Entertainment Weekly: "While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November's opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2."

"We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike."

Stewart was recently rumoured to be seeking support from Jodie Foster following the fall-out, while Pattinson was said to be spending time at Reese Witherspoon's ranch home.
