Tom Cruise has reportedly been approached to join Beyoncé in the remake of A Star Is Born.
The Rock of Ages actor is said to be in talks to appear as the male lead in Clint Eastwood's upcoming movie.
Cruise will play a washed-up singer who falls in love with Beyoncé's rising star while helping her find fame, according to Deadline.
However, it is not known whether Cruise will take on the role, due to his commitment to Joseph Kosinski's Oblivion and Doug Liman's We Mortals Are.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Christian Bale and Eminem have also been previously linked to the role. Beyoncé confirmed her involvement last summer.
A Star Is Born was first released in 1937 and has been remade twice in 1954 and 1976.
Beyoncé's character has previously been portrayed by Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand.
