Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have become parents to twin daughters, delivered by a surrogate mother.

The couple's surrogate mother gave birth at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, as previous unofficial reports suggested.

Parker and Broderick were present at the birth, and named the twins straight away, choosing Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick.
