British director Danny Boyle has reportedly been offered the chance to take charge of the next James Bond movie following his big win at last month's Oscars, according to U.K. Reports.

The moviemaker took home the coveted Best Director prize at the recent Academy Awards for Slumdog Millionaire.

And now the win has reportedly encouraged 007 film chiefs to approach the star about helming the upcoming sequel to last year's Quantum of Solace.
