Los Angeles police have confirmed actor Owen Wilson did try to kill himself at his Californian home on Sunday. The 38-year-old Wedding Crashers star was taken by ambulance from his Santa Monica property to the emergency room at the nearby St. John's Hospital at midday on Sunday.
Reports immediately began circulating that Wilson had cut his wrists and taken pills in an attempt to end his life. He was reportedly found found by older brother Andrew, who called the authorities.
