ALLY McBEAL star CALISTA FLOCKHART has pinpointed the reason why her critics brand her too skinny - because her breasts are small.

The ultra-thin actress feels that if her chesty blessings were more ample, she would not be knocked for her slight build. She says, "I have an extremely healthy appetite. I know that people say I'm wasting away, but they really don't need to worry. "I'm not saying they're not seeing what they're seeing. If I did, it would indicate I'm nuts. I'm just saying it normal weight fluctuation.

"A lot of people have said, 'Urghhh! You're skinny!' as if they're disgusted by it. But nobody would walk up to someone who's overweight and say, 'Urghhh! You're so fat!' "But you know what? It's only that I'm relatively flat-chested, that people find my body peculiar. If I had big boobs, none of this would have happened - I'm convinced. "I'm actually very happy with the way I look.
