Depp could make Russian spy film


Johnny Depp could be in line to star in a movie about the death of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko.

Warner Bros has bought the film rights to a book on the subject, reports Variety.com.

Depp is also expected to produce the film.

It will be based on an as-yet-unpublished book called Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy.

It's being written by New York Times London bureau chief Alan Cowell.

Investigations are stil underway into the death of Litvinenko, who was poisoned by polonium-210 in November.
