Pammy confirmed the news on her own website with the words: "Divorce. Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible."

Both she and Kid Rock filed divorce petitions on Monday, each citing irreconcilable differences - although Pammy dated the separation as Tuesday 21st November whilst Kid gave Sunday 26th November as the date.

"Pamela filed for divorce last week," her rep, Tracy Nguyen told People magazine. "It wasn't a happy Thanksgiving."

The couple got hitched on a yacht in St Tropez on 29th July 2006 and made it legal days later at a Beverly Hills courthouse. They then had another wedding in Nashville in mid-August.

But it seems they'll only have to have one divorce.

They had decided to get married at the beginning on July 2006, after bumping into each other in the South of France.

They previously started dating in 2001 and got engaged in April 2002 before splitting in June 2003.

Earlier this month, Pammy's rep confirmed that the actress had suffered a miscarriage whilst filming her new movie Blonde And Blonder in Vancouver.
