Scarlett Johansson has hit back at producers of her new movie, 'The Island', for blaming her for its poor performance at the box office.
The sexy actress said she was stunned when Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald claimed she and co-star Ewan McGregor - who play lovers in the sci-fi drama - gave a lack-lustre performance.
Scarlett raged: "This is a clear-cut example of the producers passing the buck and not taking responsibility for their part in making calculated mistakes throughout the film's marketing.
"I am proud of my performance and the film."
Parkes and MacDonald had written on their website: "Listen, those are the superstars of the future, not the superstars of the present."
McDonald went further by writing of stunning Scarlett: "Even lesser television actresses, quite honestly, would have more connection to that audience."
Meanwhile, Scarlett has revealed Ewan kissed like a teenager when they locked lips in the movie.
She revealed: "He kissed me like a 16-year-old schoolboy."
